Yesterday, 5th August, the Class 5 students of Junior School, St. Joseph’s College conducted a heartfelt and inspiring assembly focused on SDG 4: Quality Education.
The assembly began with a thoughtful skit that highlighted the importance of equal access to education and how it empowers individuals and builds a stronger society. The message was clear: every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and succeed.
This was followed by a pledge, where students promised to value education, support their peers in learning, and never take schooling for granted.
A particularly moving moment was a solo performance of the song "Imagine" by a Class 5 student. His soulful voice and the powerful lyrics left a lasting impact on the audience, beautifully reinforcing the assembly’s theme.
The assembly concluded with an encouraging address by our Principal, Br. Larry, who urged students to reflect on the value of education and take small steps every day to ensure learning is inclusive and meaningful for all.
Br. Larry also took the opportunity to recognize and appreciate students who had recently participated in various inter-school tournaments, distributing certificates of appreciation as a gesture of encouragement and pride.
It was a truly enriching experience that left everyone inspired to contribute to the goal of Quality Education for All.
