St. Joseph’s College, founded on Christian Values: From the beginning, the main thrust of the Christian Brothers was the education of the poor and the underprivileged so as to instil in them an awareness of their true dignity as children of God and to enable them to take their place in society as useful members of the community. Today, the Brothers aim to develop St. Joseph’s College as a faithful community where all respect one another as children of God, mindful that God intends the earth and its fullness to be for the use of all people and that all are called to avoid every form of compromise with social injustice. The School provides an environment in which their students are led to commit themselves to building a more just society. Faith formation and Value Education form the most essential part of the school curriculum.
