Classes are held Monday to Friday, between 7.55am and 2.45 pm
The school year is from April to March
There are three annual vacation periods : summer, autumn, winter.
MOBILES PHONES ARE TOTALLY BANNED
Parents & Guardians are hereby informed that the school authorities will not allow any of the students to be in possession of mobile phones. No student is to be seen carrying / using a cell in school even during holidays. There are numerous PCOs etc. in the city, students should be encouraged to use these during emergency. Students who fail to follow this rule will have their cell phones confiscated.
Students of class X and below are not permitted to ride/drive any motor vehicles (2 wheelers/cars etc.) at any time. Should a student be seen riding/ driving such vehicles – he will be suspended from School. If the offence is repeated the boy may lose his seat. Class XI/XII students will be permitted to ride/drive such vehicles provided they hold a proper licence for the same. However parking of these vehicles in Das Lane or Gopi Bose Lane is not authorized and the same is at the owner’s risk.It is mandatory for all riders to wear a helmet while coming to and going back from school on a two wheeler failing which the student may be sent back home.
When the school is in session, the students are strictly forbidden to leave the class without the teacher’s permission or the school premises without a gate-pass.
During recess and before the assembly no student is to remain in the class room.
If the child feels unwell, he has to go to the sick room with a written note in his diary.
Inappropriate magazines, books and other print/video/ digital materials should not, under any circumstance, be brought to school.
We believe our boys are gentlemen and so we discourage abusive language which offers disrespect to any one.
The management would view with grave concern the consumption of alcohol or substance abuse of any sort and seeks the active co-operation of parents.
Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of homework, disobedience and disrespect towards the members of the School Staff will be dealt with severely.
Pupils must understand that a school is judged by the discipline and conduct of its students. They should always be polite and courteous to their teachers and elders.
Students are not permitted to use the telephone except in urgent cases and with permission.
The school is not responsible for goods or money lost. Students are requested not to wear expensive watches. Money should not be borrowed, lent or articles of any nature exchanged.
Each child is under our care and protection, we attempt to see that violence is not done either to or by him.
The Management, acting through the Principal, reserves the right to resign the charge of any pupil, whose behaviour is deemed unsatisfactory. In such cases the Principal is not bound to give any reason.
Pupils who are accompanied by attendants should never leave school alone. In case of a delay, they should report to the school office. Pupils must be picked up punctually after school hours.
Any kind of damage done to the school premises must be made good and will be seriously viewed by the authorities.
Parents and guardians are not allowed to visit their wards or teachers without the permission of the Principal / respective Co-ordinator.
Parking: No PARKING is permitted on the road just outside the school.
The School provides facilities for Digital Learning (Computer, Smart Board etc.) in the class rooms. Each student is responsible for such equipment. Any damage to the equipment must be made good by the student concerned.
