Description:
BROTHER LOBO’S FAREWELL "Goodbyes aren’t meant forever, it simply means that we shall meet again…”Years 2020 and 2021 had undoubtedly been the toughest years in the field of education due to the outbreak of the pandemic. In these trying times, he held our hands and embraced the red building affectionately when everything around seemed to go in vain. It was none other than our very own Captain, Brother Leni Lobo , whose faith never bogged us down, whose incessant support made us believe in ourselves and whose bright smile, early in the morning, helped us to courageously confront the obstacles. St. Joseph’s College was privileged to celebrate the selfless contribution of Brother Lobo and to bid him farewell with heavy hearts on 9TH April, 2022. The teachers, too, reminisced their sweet memories with Brother- his vivacious spirit and endearing smile, and expressed their heartfelt gratitude. One of the oldest members of our SJC family, Ma’am Michelle, enlightened us on her long term association with the Christian Brothers. The programme was followed by special messages from the three coordinators thanking Brother for being an excellent connoisseur. SJC also welcomed its new principal, Brother Adolph Pinto, who shared a heart-warming message too. Brother was requested to share his experiences at SJC- he spoke of how these two years helped him to walk on roads never dreamt of, and horizons that radiated joy. The inspiring words of our ‘Ulysses’ shall always be savoured in our hearts forever. The song ‘Akla Cholo re’ brought the programme to a heart wrenching end. Brother was felicitated and given a special token of love and appreciation. A special bond was strengthened as we bade farewell to our very loving Brother Lobo.
